Packing your Case

Protect your case and avoid delays by packing carefully. Broken models can lead to poor fits and re-impressions.

Follow these steps:
• Disinfect all items and seal them in a bag.
• Wrap each model in bubble wrap.
• Fill the box with extra bubble wrap to prevent shifting.

Articulator/Face-bow:
Remove and wrap models separately, or if models stay on, separate and wrap each part securely. Wrap face-bow separately.

Crowns/Bridges/Shade Tabs:
Use a sealed bag or container, then wrap.

Photos/Slides:
Place in a sealed plastic bag.

We are a full-service dental lab specializing in a wide range of restorations including crowns, bridges, veneers, implants, full-arch cases, and digital dentures.

We offer both traditional and digital workflows to best meet the needs of each case. Our lab handles many implant cases and supports multiple restorative paths, providing an open-source approach to ensure flexibility and optimal outcomes for implant restorations.

Yes, we accept digital impressions from all major intraoral scanners, including iTero, 3Shape TRIOS, Ori, Medit, Carestream, and Planmeca, and more. You can send files via our secure portal or directly through your scanner’s integration. All digital files are accepted as long as you can export an STL or PLY file format.

Our standard quoted turnaround time is 2 weeks; however, most restorations are completed in 5 days or less, depending on the case complexity.

You can submit a case by scheduling a UPS pickup by calling us, using our online portal to upload digital files, or sending physical impressions via prepaid shipping labels we provide.

Our experienced technical team is available for case planning, material selection, and diagnostic wax-ups. We also offer virtual case consultations and chairside support for full-arch and implant cases.

Absolutely! We offer in-lab custom shading appointments and can work from high-resolution photos or videos if your patient can’t visit in person.

At The Dental Lab, every returned case is reviewed by a CDT, who evaluates the original RX, instructions, and impressions against the new ones to determine case charges—this may result in a full charge, shared charge, or no charge.

If a case is returned after a new one has been placed, the same review occurs, but credit vouchers (not case credits) will be issued. These may cover the shared or full invoice amount for future cases.

We follow the American Dental Association’s recommendation and guarantee restorations for up to five (5) years, provided they are used as intended and not altered, misused, or abused.

We reserve the right to charge for remakes or repairs if appliances show signs of alteration, misuse, or abuse.

We do not guarantee restorations such as mouth guards, repairs, implant parts, or modifications to the original prescription. Cases using unsuitable impressions at the doctor’s insistence are also not guaranteed.

All appliances are custom-made and non-refundable.

To qualify for our remake policy or credit vouchers:

  • The original case must be returned.
  • The doctor must have used our lab within the last 90 days and be in good financial standing.
  • All remakes must include the original work; otherwise, the account will be charged.

    We do not issue refunds—only credit vouchers or statement credits.
