The Dental Lab Remake Policy
Remakes will be charged at 50–100% under the circumstances below. The original appliance and/or restoration, along with the model work, must be returned to The Dental Lab before any remake request can be reviewed.
A remake charge applies when:
1. The Dental Lab flagged the case materials as incomplete or unsatisfactory, and the customer chose to move forward without corrections, declined a try-in, or didn’t provide the requested materials.
2. The requested tooth shade or mould differs from what was specified on the original prescription.
3. The treatment plan or materials were changed from the original prescription.
4. The request comes more than 30 days after the invoice date.
5. The case involves immediate partials, dentures, or appliances made for sites with healing extractions.
6. The appliance fits the model correctly but does not fit in the patient’s mouth.
7. The case is a partial denture and the customer declined a frame try-in prior to processing.
The Dental Lab’s remake policy does not extend to accounts that are past due.The Dental Lab reserves the right to decline new cases from any account until its balance is paid in full and current. The Dental Lab may revise this policy at any time, at its sole discretion, without prior notice.
The Dental Lab Modeless Polished Crowns Lifetime Guarantee
The Dental Lab stands behind its modeless polished crowns with a lifetime guarantee against defects in materials and craftsmanship, for as long as the original patient retains the restoration.
What’s covered:
Every modeless polished crown is guaranteed to be free of manufacturing defects and to match the design specified on the prescription form. Should a covered crown fail due to a defect in materials or craftsmanship, The Dental Lab will repair or remake it at no charge, at its discretion, for the life of the restoration.
The Dental Lab reserves the right to verify the original case and prescription before honoring a claim under this guarantee, and may amend these terms at its sole discretion without prior notice.
The Dental Lab Quality Commitment (Warranty Policy)
The Dental Lab stands behind its work with a 5-year warranty on all fixed restorations, metal partial frames, acrylic and teeth, and all other removable restorations. Orthodontic appliances carry a 1-year warranty.
What’s covered:
All work is guaranteed against defects in materials and craftsmanship. Each appliance is built to fit the submitted model and to match the design specified on the prescription form. If a product fails due to a material or craftsmanship defect within one year of the invoice date, The Dental Lab will repair or replace it at its discretion. This coverage does not extend to orthodontic
appliances, splints, retainers, or occlusal guards.
What’s not covered:
Cash refunds for custom-made restorations are not offered, nor are costs related to removal or insertion. The warranty does not cover repairs stemming from accident, neglect, abuse, or failure of the supporting tooth or tissue structure, nor issues caused by improper adjustment or inadequate dental hygiene.
Also excluded: appliances modified or retrofitted with implant or endodontic components, repairs and temporary appliances (flippers), and any prosthesis partially or fully fabricated by a lab other than The Dental Lab.
