1-CE WEBINAR: “Case Planning Strategies for Predictable Implant and Denture Outcomes” with Dr. Jon Ruel and The Dental Lab

PRESENTER: Dr. Jon Ruel
Successful full-arch rehabilitation—whether fixed or fixed-removable—requires precise coordination between the clinician and the dental laboratory. Treatment planning is not a single decision point, but a structured, collaborative workflow that integrates diagnostics, prosthetic design, implant positioning, biomechanics, esthetics, and long-term maintenance.
This course explores how aligning clinical and laboratory protocols improves restorative predictability, minimizes complications, and supports consistent, long-term outcomes. Emphasis is placed on prosthetically driven planning, case selection, and the critical role of the laboratory in guiding restorative feasibility and design.
Learning Objectives:
- Explain the principles of prosthetically driven implant planning in full-arch rehabilitation
- Identify key factors influencing case selection between fixed and fixed-removable solutions
- Describe the laboratory’s role in the diagnostic phase, including evaluation of restorative feasibility through diagnostic setups
- Assess the impact of AP spread on cantilever length and biomechanical stability
- Apply a coordinated clinical-laboratory workflow to improve predictability and reduce restorative complications
